What we believe

Leading People to become fully devoted followers of Christ

At Eagle Pointe Church our authoritative source is the Holy Bible. Our foundation and identity are laid solely in God. We are a body, unified through faith in God, committed to the teachings laid down in Scripture, and obedient to all His commands. We are compelled by Christ’s sacrifice on the cross to gather in prayer and worship, for His glory and under His grace, to exhort, preach, teach, equip and disciple the Church to become fully devoted followers of Christ, bearing one another’s burdens and taking His gospel to the community and to the world.

We Believe:

There is only one God in three persons: The Father, The Son, and Holy Spirit.

(Isaiah 43:10, 1 Corinthians 8:6, 2 Corinthians 13:14, John 1:14, Genesis 1:1-3)

The Deity of Jesus, who lived among us as fully man and fully God.

(John 1:1, John 1:14, Acts 20:28, John 20:28, Hebrews 1:8, John 8:58)

We acknowledge that Jesus came to die for our sins to reconcile us back to God (saving us from eternal hell) by dying on the cross and rising from the grave three days later, proving He was God as He had claimed.

(Romans 4:25, 1 Corinthians 15:4, John 20:27-29, Romans 10:9-10)

We acknowledge a personal commitment to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, accepting His gift of eternal salvation through faith in Him alone.

(Romans 10:9-10, John 14:6, John 3:16-17)

The observance, as directed by Scripture, baptism by immersion and Communion.

(Colossians 2:12, Acts 10:48, Matthew 28:19-20, Luke 22:19-20, Luke 24:30, 1 Corinthians 11:17-34, Acts 2:46)

Submission to the full authority of Scripture, accepting it as the true Word of God.

(2 Timothy 3:16-17, John 17:17, Ephesians 1:13, Colossians 1:5, John 1:1-5)
